Understanding geography is key into understanding American history. Basically geography is the study of the earth and everything on it. This is the first thing we learn at the beggining of the year, so it is pretty basic and lots of activities. First we take notes together and break down the ideas into words we understand. The 5 themes is how we break down geography into understandable subcategories.
